LED Light Therapy uses specific wavelengths of visible and near-infrared light to support skin response and recovery. It's a non-invasive, painless treatment with no downtime — most clients describe it as a relaxing 30 minutes of warm light on the skin.
At Platinum Cosmetic Skin Clinic, we use the Lumina LED-PDT — a clinical LED system that delivers Blue, Red, Near Infra-Red, Yellow and Green wavelengths. Your practitioner will select the wavelength (or combination) best suited to your skin and goals at your appointment.
LED Light Therapy can be booked as a standalone session, added on to most other treatments, or taken as a course for clients working through a longer-term skin plan.
What People Come In For
You're looking for a calming, restorative treatment with no downtime that supports your skin between, before, or after deeper treatments.
Common reasons clients book LED Light Therapy:
- The appearance of breakout-prone or congested skin
- The appearance of redness, sensitivity or post-treatment inflammation
- Skin recovery and calming support after needling, peels, dermaplaning or other clinical treatments
- The appearance of fine lines and overall skin radiance
- A regular maintenance treatment for ongoing skin support
